Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Convention and Exhibition is a public institution directly under Xiamen Municipal People’s Government, whose operation is guided by the Ministry of Commerce, Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, and Fujian Provincial People’s Government.
Its main responsibilities are: Implementing the principles and policies on convention and exhibition made by higher authorities, assisting industry management departments to study and formulate the development plan of the city’s convention and exhibition industry, researching development strategies of Xiamen convention and exhibition industry, cultivating new talent, and promoting the development of the convention and exhibition industry in Xiamen.
