The Darling Marine Center is the marine laboratory of the University of Maine and the site of world renowned marine research. It functions year round to support UMaine faculty and students, as well as visiting investigators from across the country and around the world. With easy access to diverse intertidal habitats and the Gulf of Maine, state-of-the-art educational, research and conference facilities, and competitive rates, it's no wonder that hundreds of students and scientists have come to the DMC in the last decade.
