At its 7th meeting held in Paris, 12-13 February 2014, the Working Group on Tsunamis and Other Hazards Related to Sea-Level Warning and Mitigation Systems (TOWS-WG) agreed that the Inter-Intergovernmental Coordination Group (ICG) Task Team on Tsunami Watch Operations should hold an intersessional meeting to make further progress on outstanding actions before the 8th meeting of the TOWS-WG. At the kind invitation of the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), the Task Team will meet at the offices of JMA in Tokyo, Japan, 21-22 October 2014.
