Summary

The virtual session "Co-designing the science we need for the South-East-Pacific" is convened by UNESCO's Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission, the MSPglobal Initiative and the Permanent Commission for the South-Pacific (CPPS) with the support of Sweden, as part of the Ocean Decade Virtual Series. 

The objective is to dialogue about the role of ocean science in support of the development of public policies for the marine environment.

The session will explore opportunities and challenges and discuss best practicies to deliver co-designed, solution-oriented research that will lead to transformative Decade Actions with long-lasting benefits for the ocean and society.
