A risk perception survey was formed by IOC-UNESCO to better understand the current level of risk perception of sea-level related hazards in coastal communities in the North-Eastern Atlantic, Mediterranean and Connected Seas (NEAM) region. This survey will help on understanding the current knowledge on sea-level related hazards and risk perceptions, selecting the methods as well as approaches used and creating tools to organize the results of the survey. In this workshop, we will review the survey, methods of implementation, possible target groups of the survey and the presentation of final analysis of the results of the survey with NEAM Workgroup 4 Public Awareness, Preparedness and Mitigation and Tsunami Task Team on Tsunami Ready.
