As fishery resources officer dealing with issues of sustainable use and conservation of aquatic genetic resources I am involved with promoting awareness, assessing technologies, developing policy and guidelines, and developing field projects on this subject in aquaculture and fisheries. Main interests include introduced species, genetic stock identification, genetic technologies in aquaculture, genetic impacts of fishing, Convention on Biological Diversity, and hatchery enhancement.
