Has 110 publications, among them 7 in press, 5 book chapters and 3 books, one of them the first one written and published in Spanish by the World Aquaculture Society.
Some of the most outstanding achievements are: a) contribution to the knowledge of the fishery biology, taxonomy and distribution of 11 important coastal finfish species, with recommendations on their fisheries; b) Assessment of juvenile resources of main finfish coastal lagoon species, capture sites and seasons, catching gears and methods, as well as their mass handling and transportation; c) assessment of criteria and methods for marine finfish species selection for tropical Latin America and the Caribbean; d) 14 finfish species controlled reproduction techniques, of them 9 at pilot or commercial scale; e) development of mass juvenile production technologies (maturation and spawning of breeders, incubation of eggs, larval rearing, live food culture and nursery) of 8 species at pilot-scale with the total production of nearly one million juveniles; pilot-scale development techniques for mass sea water adaptation of tilapias and their rearing in coastal lagoon fish pens up to commercial size and their exportation to Japan.
