Activities
The research in my lab is devoted to the study of reef fishes and the habitats within which they occur. Thus our work has taken us from seagrass meadows to mangrove forests, and from shallow water reefs to the edge of the continental shelf. We are particularly interested in the behavior, life history traits, and species interactions that make these species and, indeed, these habitats, vulnerable to exploitation. We make a point of carrying that information forward into the management arena to help inform policy decisions.
