I earned my Ph.D. in Geochemistry and Environment from Hassan II University of Casablanca in 2018, specializing in environmental impact assessment and marine pollution. I am currently a Scientific Researcher at the National Center for Energy, Sciences, and Nuclear Techniques (CNESTEN) in Rabat, Morocco. My research focuses on blue carbon ecosystems, coastal biogeochemistry, marine pollution, and environmental sustainability, with expertise in assessing carbon sequestration through sediment core analysis and nuclear and isotopic techniques. I have authored more than 60 scientific publications, including 22 book chapters and 3 books. I have extensive experience in scientific coordination, capacity building, and interdisciplinary collaborations across Africa, Europe, and the Mediterranean region, supporting sustainable blue economy and climate change mitigation initiatives.

- Blue Carbon sequestration rate and accumulation determination and calculation.

- Microplastics assessment and evaluation in the coastal environment

- Geochemistry of trace metals, major elements, and rare earth elements. Analysis and study of physical & chemical parameters of sediments.

- Radiometric dating of sediments by Lead-210 and Cesium-137.

- Analysis and monitoring of radioactive and metallic pollution in a marine ecosystem. Environmental impact assessment.

- Measurement and dosage of radioactive elements by Alpha spectrometry (Uranium, Polonium, Lead) and Gamma spectrometer.
