Activities
Worked as Scientific officer at Physical and Space Oceanography division in Bangladesh Oceanographic Research institute, Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh from January, 2018.
Projects during this period
- Spatial and temporal variability of surface chlorophyll in Saint martin, Bangladesh.
- Spatial and temporal variabilty of stratification and surface chlorophyll along the cox's Bazar coast.
Working as a research associate on "Physical processes controling the seasonal and inter annual variability of hydrography in the northern Bay of Bengal" during 2015 to 2017.
During my time studying oceanography at the DU, I spend my last few years working on Satellite Altimetry, Nutrient Cycling, CTD data collection, processing, I also did my MS thesis in "Spatial and temporal variability of surface chl-a and associated physical parameters in the northern Bay of Bengal".
InternshipDuring my internship at IISc, Bangalore my topics was "
Estimation
of Ganga-Brahmaputra river discharge at river mouth using satellite
Altimetry
". Here I worked with French Scientist Dr. Fabrice Papa and Fabian Donald.

Comment(s)
The Bay of Bengal is poorly studied region. Number of skilled people is very few here. As an Oceanographer it is my duty to ensure sustainable management for
oceanic resource.
