Activities
I am an Australian research scientist with over 22 years experience in the design, implementation and dissemination of biological and environmental research programs. My background is in shark and fish biology and ecology, however I conduct research across a wide range of fields. My research has changed State legislation and operational procedures on multiple occasions, and has been the focus of multiple documentaries including the Emmy award-winning "Sharks of the Coral Canyon".
I currently operate my own research and consultancy business, Wildlife Marine. Here I identify and investigate gaps in contemporary scientific knowledge, and conduct targeted projects for managers, NGO's and regulatory agencies. Consultancy contracts are undertaken in the strictest of confidence, however the results of research projects are widely disseminated. Please feel free to contact me to discuss any research or consultancy needs or collaboration ideas!
