Since 2014, she has been working as researcher at CNR-ISMAR (Ancona) and involved in several research projects and monitoring programs aimed to assess the impacts on marine ecosystems induced by human activities (e.g., artificial reefs, installation of gas and oil platforms and pipelines, dredging operations, discharge at sea of harbor sediments) and natural events (e.g., anoxia, mucillages). Her research group investigate the physical and chemical changes along the water column and in the sediments, the modifications of benthic communities and of fish assemblages as well as the effects on sentinel organisms. She is the author or coauthor of more than 25 papers in international
journals, books and conference proceedings
