Professor at the Institute of Oceanography of the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG). He holds a Bachelor's degree (2006) and a Master's degree in Geography specializing in Environmental Analysis (2009), both from FURG, and a Doctorate (2024) from the Graduate Program in Remote Sensing and Geoprocessing (PPGSR) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), where he conducted research on ecosystem service modeling with a focus on watersheds. Since 2013, he has worked as a Geomatics Technician at the Coastal Management Laboratory (IO-FURG). He is a member of the following research groups: Integrated Coastal Management and Ecosystem-based Marine and Coastal Management (GMC-Eco). He has experience in the field of Geosciences, with an emphasis on geoprocessing, remote sensing, and environmental planning and management. He represents the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) on the Management Council of the Lagoa Verde Environmental Protection Area (CG-APALV) and the Management Council of the Barra Municipal Park (CG-PMB), both located in Rio Grande, RS. He is an environmental auditor and a founding partner of GEOSENSE SOLUÇÕES AMBIENTAIS.
