• Acts as Typhoon Forecaster and formulates  bulletins during the existence of tropical cyclones inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and tropical cyclone advisories for tropical cyclones threatening to enter PAR

• Analyzes and interprets weather charts, NWP model outputs, satellite and radar images as basis in tropical cyclone forecasting

• Conducts tropical cyclone post analysis and formulates appropriate reports

• Conducts lectures on tropical cyclones and other related topics

• Basic knowledge in FORTRAN, R, and Python
• Data analysis
• Capable in speaking and writing in English
• Ability to balance workloads efficiently, analytical and quick learner
