An
interdisciplinary sustainability scientist using system dynamics to support sustainable
development planning. Currently, I work as a development policy analyst for the
Millennium Institute and as an independent consultant. I hold a
doctoral degree in Integrated Ocean Management and have built knowledge and experience in
sustainability transitions and environmental governance, particularly in
African and developing countries. My Doctoral research was awarded the Global
Challenges University Alliance 2030 Award for the thesis of the year in
relation to the UN’s sustainable development agenda. My work broadly aims to support
policy and planning with my latest
publications and studies on the green energy transition, maritime decarbonization, marine spatial planning, the blue economy and national development assessments. My skills include system
dynamics modelling, data analysis, scenario planning, stakeholder engagement,
policy analysis and teaching.
