Scientist in the Ocean State Forecast (wing) in INCOIS, Hyderabad, India.  Here we try to support the operational activities of a wide range of user communities ranging from fishermen to weathermen. My job involves training, preparing material as well as supervising the day to day activities of the Ocean State Forecast wing.  In particular providing warnings during events like cyclones, Kallakadal, tidal flooding, swell waves, monsoons, etc.
