• • Creation, Maintenance and quality control of GIS data using ArcGIS and other open source GIS applications.
  • Mapping and updating mangrove database of the country.
  • Planning, organizing and facilitating fieldwork activities for geo-spatial data collection, sorting and analysis.
  • Working as a team in development of project proposal on coastal zone management.
  • Teaching on the application of GIS and Remote Sensing for example in disaster management during trainings/conferences.
  • Enhancing research capability of my host institution through the skill acquired from trainings attended.
  • Providing GIS and RS support to scientists, graduate and postgraduate students at KMFRI.
   
  

• G.I.S: Skilled in ArcGIS 10.x with its related data processing, input and output as well as open Source G.I.S Products e.g. Google Earth, QGIS, Google Maps.
• Remote Sensing skills using ERDAS 2014, ENVI 5.x and knowledge in handling raster data.
• Sound GPS skills and applications.
• Good skills in Microsoft Packages [Word, Power Point, Excel and Access]
