Activities
Al-Dubai T.A.M. Research Fellow in Department of Marine Geology, King Abdulaziz University (KAU). I study benthic foraminiferal species in the Red Sea in terms density, diversity and taxonomy and using them as indicators to natural variability and anthropogenic impacts, pollution in marine communities, and to reconstruct palaeo-climate and palaeo-environmental and former sea-level changes. My work contributes to our understanding of the effects of human activities and pollution and global warming on coastal ecosystems. Currently, I am studying the sea-level changes and palaeoclimate during the late Holocene in the Red Sea.
