Activities

To prepare R&D proposals in the domain of ocean bioscience and marine biology and to mobilize funding from different sponsoring agencies and Ministries
To execute the funded R&D programs and involving the students, staffs and scholars from other departments and schools of the Institute
To development of R&D projects including in public-private-partnership mode
To review, monitor, preparing reports and coordination of scientific activities in the ocean science and marine biology field
To execute R&D related ocean bioscience and marine biology program in the interdisciplinary area with other departments
To work towards collaborative research work with other Research Centers, Universities, Institutes and Industries
To conduct training and workshop to promote the domain of ocean science and marine biology
To encourage staffs and scholars for publications, patents and innovative product development
To supervise and lead the center R&D work in alignment with SDG goals
