Engaged in multidisciplinary research on ocean colour remote sensing, marine biogeochemistry, and operational oceanography, focusing on the development of satellite- and model-based advisory services for marine ecosystem applications. Activities include harmful algal bloom detection and forecasting, Hilsa fishery advisories, marine litter tracking, coastal biogeochemical modelling, and climate-scale marine ecosystem assessments. Actively involved in operational service development, integration of in situ, satellite, and numerical model observations, machine learning applications, scientific publications, project execution, and collaborative research supporting sustainable ocean management and the Blue Economy.
