I have over 36 years career experience working as Director, Manager and technical specialist in marine and land based environmental projects across Australia and Asia Pacific region. My roles have included a remediation project manager, environmental scientist, marine pollution emergency responder, spatial data specialist, qualified industrial chemist and oil exploration geochemist. My employment has been with Federal & State government Authorities as well as private consulting companies and a UN organisation. They are the WA Maritime, Oil Spill Response Pty Ltd (OSRL), Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA), consultants RPS Group, Asia-Pacific Applied Science Associates (APASA), the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA), the Commonwealth Scientific and Industry Research Organisation (CSIRO), electricity and coal mining industries (State Electricity Commission of Victoria) and a term with the United Nations Secretariat for the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) and State Emergency Services of New South Wales.
