Activities

Guiding and inspecting activities of hydro-meteorological observation,
monitoring the operation of hydro-meteorological stations belonging to the
works which must be observed and provided hydro-meteorological information and
data according to the provisions of law;

Evaluating contents related to the national network of hydro-meteorological
stations in the planning and designing of national key construction projects
according to the provisions of law;

Appraising of programs and plans on hydro-meteorological survey under the
management of the Viet Nam Meteorological and Hydrological Administration;

Advising on the plan for network development of specialized meteo-hydrological
stations of ministries, branches and localities according to the provisions of
law;
-
Guiding and inspecting the implementation of regulations on technical corridors
and protection of hydro-meteorological works within the national network of
hydro-meteorological stations;

Guiding and inspecting the network operation of specialized hydro-meteorological
stations of ministries, branches and localities according to the provisions of
law;
- Participating in the implementation of international
cooperation activities, scientific and technological research on the
hydro-meteorological station network as assigned by the General Director.
