Handles the IUCN Red List in FishBase and conservation issues at the national and global levels. Also works on fish oxygen consumption. Worked on reproduction related information in FishBase. Actively involved in organizing trainings on freshwater fish identification and conservation in collaboration with national and international partners.
Determined natural diet (gut content analyses) of spiny lobsters Panulirus spp. in the Philippines.
Conducted feeding and growth studies on spiny lobster Panulirus spp. in captivity.
