Activities
The main activity is the formulation and execution of applied research projects in the area of benthic marine resources related to management, repopulation and cultivation, as well as feeding of invertebrates. In the environmental area, the projects related to the effects of antifouling paints on marine sediments and algae plagues affecting algae monoculture stand out. Education to students and artisan fishermen in macroalgae biodiversity and seaweed propagation techniques (southern Chile)
