I am a researcher/consultant with expertise in sustainable blue economy development and maritime governance. Provided technical assistance to the government of Nigeria through the AU-IBAR in drafting the Nigerian Blue Economy Strategy, Implementation plan and Governance framework. I am attuned to ocean literacy, conservation, marine biodiversity protection, marine pollution, and climate change mitigation. Hence, I have an endorsed Ocean Decade project "African Youths Sustainable Ocean Campaign) AYSOC ID 215)" and EU Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters Charter action "Africa for Sustainable Ocean Initiative (ASOI). I also provide expert advice to policymakers based on scientific facts and findings on ocean protection and the rights of local communities to the ocean economy.
