Activities
Geologist of the National (Argentine) Commission
on the Outer Limit of the Continental Shelf (COPLA), in charge of the
geological and geophysical aspects involved in the Submission of the outer
limit of the continental shelf of Argentina.
- Co-responsible of the geological, geophysical
and geomorphological research of the Argentine continental shelf for the
Argentine Submission presented to the Commission on the Limits of the
Continental Shelf (CLCS).

Collaboration in the organization of a working
plan for preparing material and information for the meetings with the CLCS in
order to strengthen and support the arguments used in the Argentine submission.

Structural and geomorphological interpretation
of seismic lines and geopotential data of the Argentine continental margin.

Management of the seismic database. Prepare the
seismic data that can be delivered to other institutions.

Cooperation jointly with countries that have not
made their presentation before the CLPC in order to transfer knowledge and
technology.

Preparation of geological and geophysical
content for conveying knowledge regarding the determination of the outer limit
of the continental shelf. Participation in Congresses, Seminars and specialized
organizations on the subject.

Participation in the Pampa Azul Project and in
the National Program for Productive Research and Innovation in Argentine
Maritime Spaces (PROMAR - Law 27,167), in matters within its competence.

analysis of continental margins, with extensive experience interpreting seismic
and geopotential data related to the Argentine continental shelf.

interpretation of 2D and 3D seismic lines; proficient in managing large seismic
databases and preparing datasets for institutional sharing.
