Graduated in Oceanology from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG). PhD and Master in Remote Sensing from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). I am currently a Professor of Remote Sensing at the Department of Oceanography at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). Permanent professor of the Postgraduate Program in Petroleum Geochemistry and the Environment.
Skills
I have expertise in numerical modeling and environmental studies of ocean-atmosphere interaction in the South Atlantic Ocean. In my postdoctoral research, I studied the impact of synoptic events on the dynamics of the Southern Brazilian Continental Shelf and the southwest Atlantic Ocean, through coupled ocean-atmosphere numerical modeling and remote sensing. I have two technical courses in the area of electromechanics and systems instrumentation, with experience in programming languages and remote sensing data processing
