I am an Independent Researcher of CONICET at IBIOMAR, Puerto Madryn, Chubut, Argentina. In addition, I am a researcher of the Laboratory of Socio-Environmental Problems of the National University of Patagonia (UNPSJB). My research focuses on understanding coastal and marine social-ecological systems using different tools from the conceptual frameworks of post-normal science, political ecology, philosophy and conservation, to improve the conditions of the science-policy-society interface. My most important current areas of action-research are Integrated Coastal Zone Management and Marine Spatial Planning. Currently, I am the Executive Coordinator of the Pampa Azul Bonaerense Programme, Ministry of Environment of the Province of Buenos Aires.
