I currently work as a researcher at the Laboratory
of Ecology, Physiology and Evolution of Aquatic Organisms from the Austral
Center for Scientific Research (CADIC-CONICET). My field of work is the physiology of marine fishes, in which I combine cellular and organismic
approaches to investigate an organism's response and adaptation to environmental changes.
Skills
My skills include coordination and participation in different
research projects, the supervision of undergraduate and graduate students and
technicians, and participation in institutional activities.
in my experimental work, I employ different techniques in order to measure the thermal tolerance, thermal preference, O2 consumption rates, and oxidative metabolism of aquatic organisms exposed to different environmental conditions.
