1. Providing ongoing operational support to Fiji’s COVID-19 Response at the Nadi International Airport, Port Denarau, and Suva and Lautoka ports for quarantine purposes in government quarantine facilities as well as clinical teams in Nadi Isolation Unit, Nadi Hospital and clinical field teams engaged in COVID-19 testing and frontline worker surveillance
2. Coordinating and monitoring the implementation of preparedness and response planning for Nadi air and seaport borders
3. Building and sustaining effective relationships with high-level government officials, development and technical partners, and stakeholders at Fiji’s International airport and seaport borders
4. Providing ongoing expert training on infection prevention and control in the various quarantine specific areas to frontline health and security personnel, including hotel management and staff engaged in hotel quarantine duties
5. Provided guidance to aviation and seaport related border quarantine management advice within the COVID-19 space to Ministry of Health officials and stakeholders
6. Ongoing monitoring of quarantine and managed isolation processes at the borders in Nadi and other ports of entry
