I'm a Team Leader and Senior Research Scientist in the Sustainable Marine Futures Program at CSIRO. My my current work focuses on assessing status, trends, risks and opportunities for marine social ecological systems and on developing strategies for climate change adaptation and nature repair.
I have been working and publishing in the environmental sciences since 2007, and have research experience in Australia, Europe and America including field experience from the tropics to the poles. Major foci of this work have included: environmental assessment and monitoring; food web and ecosystem structure, function, theory and modelling; trophodynamics; ecosystem management; biodiversity conservation; fish, fisheries and fisheries bycatch; and science-policy linkages.
