I am Robert Lewis, a surfer and a native Floridian. I have a deep love for the ocean and a strong conviction about preserving/restoring coastal areas and protecting coastal communities.

Since January 2021, I have been working as a Coastal Engineering EIT, at HDR. I started working on the gulf coast in Texas and I have recently transferred to San Diego California.

I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in math education from the University of North Florida and taught 6th – 9th grade students in California and Costa Rica.

Along with surfing, I also enjoy playing music, hiking, and studying languages.
