Activities
I am an Oceanologist with experience in trophic ecology at the Fisheries and Pelagic Resources Laboratory and the Ichthyology Laboratory of the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG), collecting and processing ecological data from Lagoa dos Patos (Rio Grande - RS), assisting in the Long Term Ecological Research (PELD) program. I worked with tuna trophic ecology using fishing data from the South and Southeast of Brazil. I did a compulsory internship at the NGO Caminho Marinho (Cassino, Rio Grande, RS), working on the monitoring, recovery and conservation of sea turtles, including environmental education activities on the project. I am currently focusing my studies on analyzing stable isotopes between different estuaries from North to South of the Brazilian coast.
Skills
Throughout my undergraduate and graduate work, I carried out analyzes on fishing data using Excell, I worked with apposition structures to determine ages in fish, knowing the entire process from collection to analysis of results, and I currently work with stable isotope data using the R software, analyzing the isotopic niche and mixture models.
