Activities
Prepares and disseminates reports and messages of earthquakes
felt in Puerto Rico. This information is sent to Management
Emergencies and National Weather Service during the first five
minutes that the events occur.
Analyzes and locate local and regional earthquakes are detected
by seismic stations monitored by Puerto Rico Seismic Network.
Collaborated in drill of Shakeout and Caribe wave in disseminated
information to Office Management and National Weather
Services. Collaborated with the amateur organizations in the dissemination of the message in the drill.
Documented all the earthworm system and Broadcast Server
System in PRSN.
Collaborated in the implementation of Shakemap.
Documented and maintain backup of all the data or Puerto Rico
Stations.
Collaborated with education in presentations of earthquakes and
Tsunami.
Assist in the supervision and revision of the students that work
in the analysis and processing of seismic events.
Help in the implementation of the Standard Operating System
(SOP) in PRSN.
