I work in very diverse areas, contributing to the sustainable development in the local communities and nature conservation by development of activities such as:
Monitoring of marine ecosystems (e.g. mangrove and coral reef) and beach (through the SANDWACTH Methodology of UNESCO).
Research in ecology and marine biology.
Monitoring of endangered species through collecting and analyzing fishery data.
Promoting temporary closures (Veda) and use of improved fishing traps (made by metal and recycled fishing net that are no longer used because they are banned by law) for sound management and conservation of natural resources.
Seaweeds cultivation for socio-economic empowerment of youth and gender and to build resilient and sustainable communities.
Promotion of resilience and social cohesion and sound waste management.
