Activities
As a researcher in the Institute of Corporate Citizenship, my activities in the past months have entailed academic research and policy development on issues of cliamte change, loss and damage and most recently coastal and marine studies in University of South Africa. In addition, my ongoing research include transitions to renewable energy options in Nigeria, an analysis of caostal and marine research in South Africa. I am also a memebr of the Trade and Investment Working Group of the IORAG in South Africa where we are currently working on an assesment of South Africa’s Port Infrastructure to facilitate Trade within the
IORA region.

I am professionally trained as a Lawyer, and I have been called to the Nigerian Bar. In addition, I have over 10 years teaching experience in the areas of international environmental law, land governance and sustainable development and law. Further, I have carried out research in the areas of law of the sea, dispute resolution under the law of the sea, coastal area management in Lagos and Cape Town, as well as planning law and climate change adaptation in African cities. In order to build capacity as a researcher in climate change, marine and coastal research, I am currently a post doctoral researcher at the University of South Africa.
