Activities
I am an ecologist specializing in experimental studies on how climate change and disturbances modify biodiversity and, in turn, shape the stability of coastal ecosystems. Recently my focus has shifted toward the study of microbial systems, particularly the role of microbiomes in determining the resilience of seaweeds to climate change. Additionally, I employ environmental DNA (eDNA) techniques to assess the biodiversity of macroalgal forests, providing insights into their ecological dynamics and conservation.
