Glendon Glasgow is an Information Officer at the Institute of Marine Affairs (IMA) in Trinidad and Tobago, where he has served for 14 years. He specializes in translating marine research into accessible information for the public through outreach programs, publications, and educational initiatives.
He leads The SEA and Me, a program designed to instill marine conservation awareness in students from schools near the IMA. He also writes and produces the IMA’s external newsletter and Tidal Calendar, key resources that communicate vital research findings to the public.
In addition to his national outreach efforts, Glendon participated in a lionfish awareness workshop with REEF Ltd. in Florida, gaining valuable insights into invasive species management. His work continues to contribute to marine conservation discussions at both local and regional levels.
Glendon holds a degree in Marine Biology and Environmental Science from the University of the West Indies and has completed modules in Agricultural Science. Passionate about bridging the gap between science and society, he is committed to making marine conservation knowledge widely accessible.
