Photonics, and a PhD in Planetary Sciences, what truly sets me apart
from other candidates is my +10 years of experience with complex optical
and electrical systems in diverse Fields in Industry and Academia:
- Development and testing of distributed fiber optic sensors (DAS) for underwater
seismology, and physical oceanography.
- Lead engineer in the Ocean-Bottom Seismology Lab. Responsible for development of projects for new oceanographic hardware and sensors.
- Development of proof-of-concept of a novel approach towards a high resolution 3-D Projection display based on Angular Illumination.
- Diverse laser engineering roles in industry to characterize and improve beam stability for high-end semiconductor industry applications.
- Power plant electrical engineer.
