I am a graduate student in Oceanography with hands-on experience in oil spill modeling, remote sensing, and geospatial analysis using QGIS. My background includes comparative analysis of oil dispersion models, characterization of metocean conditions in the Campos Basin, and the use of radar imagery to distinguish oil spills from natural phenomena. I have also worked with NDVI calculations and riparian vegetation analysis using satellite images. My skill set combines environmental data interpretation, spatial analysis, and applied digital technologies for marine and coastal ecosystems.
Skills
Oceanographer, graduated from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG). Currently a master's student in the Graduate Program in Oceanography at FURG, and a member of the Laboratory of Dynamic and Satellite Oceanography (LODS), based at the Center for Ocean and Climate Studies (CEOCEAN). I have experience in Physical Oceanography with a focus on oil spill modeling and remote sensing. I also hold a specialization in Digital Technologies for Coastal and Oceanic Ecosystems in the Oil, Gas, and Biofuel Industry.
