Activities
During the last 5 years I was a leader of different funded environmental project in the United Arab Emirates. I have also taught many courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels such as (Principal of Oceanography, Marine biology, Aquatic Ecology, Coastal managment,...Environmental science..). I have also supervised 4 M.Sc. and 1 Ph.D. thesis. I was a co-investigator in two projects in collaboration with Max-Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology, Bremen-Germany.

- Aquatic Ecology with large experience in foodweb interactions in aquatic Ecosystems, using Numerical modeling and Bioassay studies.
- I have developed some experiences in wetlands by working on Cyanobacterial mats at Abu-Dhabi Sabkha.
- I have also established a new trend of research of studying Dust storm nutritive contribution to the Arabian Gulf marine ecosystem.
