Research focus: Sustainable maritime transportation systems, hybrid marine power system control, energy management & decarbonization strategies
My research focuses on the development of advanced energy management and control strategies for electrified maritime systems, contributing to sustainable and low-emission maritime transport. As a PhD candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering, I investigate hybrid AC/DC shipboard microgrids and power management architectures aimed at reducing fuel consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and environmental impact in marine operations.
