Comment(s)
Since 2019, I act as the Urban Heritage Project Manager for the IADB’s Living Heritage Programme. I have participated as project manager in the implementation of three projects: Buenos Aires (Argentina); Arequipa (Peru) and Port Royal (Jamaica) and I am contributing to the adaptation of the programme to settlements in the Amazonia Region. These heritage areas (World Heritage properties or candidates) are selected among several others in the region to implement multisector master planning and management strategies that aim at strengthening the capacities of cities and national governments in heritage revitalization. The Plans include providing planning, management and financing tools to safeguard and enhance cultural (material and immaterial) and natural heritage. Particularly in Port Royal Heritage Strategy I worked underwater cultural heritage.
