• Total of 20 years’ experience with conservation programs and communications’ products related to coastal management initiatives for nongovernmental organizations, private companies and governmental agencies;
• 4 years’ experience as a Program Implementation Manager at the NGO Rare Inc., coordinating the implementation of the Fish Forever Program along the Brazilian coast;
• 4 years’ experience as a Project Manager at the Brazilian NGO BioAtlântica Institute, responsible for agreements of inter-institutional cooperation, seeking funding, communication initiatives and developing projects for planning, management, and conservation along with the Brazilian coastal and marine sector;
• Experience with media and press initiatives, producing content for TV channels, printed and digital media;
• Communication materials regarding environmental education for regulatory authorities, environmental agencies and state enterprises in Brazil;
• Documentary filmmaker and professional photographer expert in conservation photography
(including underwater footage), and book editor and publisher;
• 3 years’ experience in technical consulting projects for monitoring of marine biodiversity and environmental control for Brazilian and international oil and gas companies;
• Management of Marine Protected Areas (MPA), fisheries management, spatial planning, Ecological Corridors, Protected Areas’ Mosaics and Environmental Services;
• Skill related to creativity and ability to coordinate teams.
