1. SHORELINE MAPPING AND CHANGE ASSESSMENT : Involved with shoreline study taken up by National Center for Coastal Research, under the Ministry of Earth Science, Government of India. 
2. DECENTRALIZATION OF FACILITIES USING GIS :Identifying pattern of facility in the study area of sriperambudur(TP) prepare zones of development. Evaluate supply demand gap and development of a model to identify Suitable site for facilities which lack in supply and Propose relocation for facilities which are excess and centralized to a particular area. This can be used by Master Planning Division such as CMDA in creating various landuse zones.       
3. MODELLING LANDS VALUE IN COASTAL CITY -CHENNAI. Considering various factors viz location of facilities like school, bus stand, hospital, industries etc and determining land value based on proximity to facilities in Chennai metropolitan area. Performing regression analysis to get a generalized equation for the land value using SPSS. 
4.  FIRE SCAR MAPPING Mapping of fire burnt area inside reserved forest and reserved land using IRS P6 AWiFS imagery and quantifying the amount of forest land devastated due to fire in hectares. Division wise fire burnt area map is also prepared and analyzed for swift action in containing the damages to occur in future fire instances.
