PhD candidate in Biological Oceanography in University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Work on remote sensing of Colored Dissolved Organic Matter along coastal/shelf region of Southeast Brazilian and use ocean color satellite time series to understand the role of La Plata river Plume and coastal upwelling process in Dissolved Organic Carbon dynamics.
Skills
Use absorbance and fluorescence of optical seawater constituents to evaluate accuracy of
bio-optical algorithms to determine the absorption coefficient of CDOM. Access and share satellite remote sensing data products. Get in-situ remote sensing data for
improve ocean color products and building ocean colour algorithms. Use python libraries to explore marine satellite data via netCDF4 data, Opendap and ERRDAP protocols. Take trainings and promote activites for introduction ocean from space and ocean color for students and graduate students in Brazil.
