Activities
Right now I'm doing volunteer work as Director of Dos Mares (www.dosmares.org), to encourage marine research and conservation in Central America. My previous experience has been related with protected areas's planning and management and environmental assessment in Mexico, Central America, Puerto Rico and United States. My graduate work focused in fish community ecology in the South Gulf of Mexico, identifying seasonal abundance and biodiversity patters between the estuary and the ocean. Marine protected areas and biodiversity conservation are my real passions. I am US-OPM's security cleared.
I
have gradually increased my project management abilities and
consulting experience as conservationist/environmentalist working
with scientific, engineering and business sectors, conservation
community, stakeholders, local authorities and founders mainly in
Central America. Watershed and coastal conservation, protected areas
planning and management, forest, soil and biodiversity conservation
are part of my skills. I am familiarized with proposal writing as
well as with business development processes and marketing. Fluent in
Spanish language.
