Margi Prideaux is a co-Founder and the Policy & Negotiations Director of the Migratory Wildlife Network.
She is a specialist in migratory wildlife protection policy development, with over 20 years of wildlife conservation policy and negotiation experience, and regional species agreement development.
Margi has participated in over a dozen different international and Australian domestic processes, and has worked with a number of conservation organisations.
Margi has a PhD in International Relations focusing on the development of cetacean protection policy & law. Past Associate Fellow and Adjunct Lecturer with the School of International Studies at the University of South Australia.
She has served as Marine Policy Advisor to the Convention on Migratory Species of Wild Animals.
She has authored more than 30 reports, papers and conference presentations on migratory species protection, regional agreement development, marine protected areas and the role of global civil society in track one and track two international diplomacy.
In addition she maintains ongoing academic pursuits and policy development contracts relating to marine species conservation and the role of civil society.
