Projects related to evaluating the impact of domestic and industrial wastewater pollution with emphasis on  heavy metals, hydrocarbons, macro-microplastic in estuarine and marine areas, diversity studies of macrobenthos  (mobile and sessile invertebrates, coral reef) in rocky shores  (intertidal and subtidal zones), sustainable management of bioacuatic resources and marine-coastal ecosystems on the coast of Ecuador.

Teamwork, coordination, physical-chemical and biological samples in marine and estuarine ecosystems, scuba diving, statistical analysis, use of statistical software (Primer V7 & Permanova, R Studio), persistence, hard work and determination to achieve goals and solve problems, empathy and effective communication with local communities and key actors of civil society, environmental authorities and academia.
