Comment(s)
The ocean is a defining feature of our planet and crucial to life on Earth. Yet it remains one of the planet’s last and least unexplored frontiers. I work as a Scientific Officer at the National Oceanographic Research Institute of Bangladesh that is is committed to understand all facets of the ocean (Bay of Bengal) as well as its complex connections with Earth’s atmosphere, land, seafloor, and life- including economy and well-being of the country. This is essential not only to advance knowledge about our planet, but also to ensure society’s long-term welfare and to help guide human stewardship of the environment.
I am looking forward to work and study for public policy and decision making, and to expand awareness about the importance of the Bay of Bengal as well as global ocean and its resources.
